Tony Grimminck is the Chief Executive Officer of Scribd, Inc., where he leads the company’s vision, strategy, and operations. He joined Scribd, Inc. as Chief Financial Officer in 2019 and was appointed CEO in 2023, bringing deep experience in finance, strategy, and scaling consumer-focused businesses.
Prior to Scribd, Inc., Tony held executive roles at HotelTonight and StubHub and served as Vice President of Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan. Earlier in his career, he was an Officer in the Australian Army. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) and a Master’s in Engineering Science from the University of New South Wales, an MBA from Columbia University, and graduated from the Royal Military College, Duntroon, and the Australian Defence Force Academy.


Patsy Mangan is the Chief People Officer at Scribd, Inc., leading Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, People Experience, Internal Communications, and IT. She is known for progressive thinking and building innovative people strategies that strengthen culture and performance. Her leadership has driven initiatives such as ScribdFlex, the company’s differentiated flexible work model; Scribd Humans, which strengthens connection and shared purpose; and GRIT, a performance framework that drives clarity and accountability. Notably, she was the architect behind the company’s values and leadership principles.
Patsy is passionate about building high-performance, high-engagement cultures and championing modern ways of working. Before joining Scribd, Inc., she held senior people leadership roles at Essence Media, Razorfish, and Starcom MediaVest Group. She holds a B.S. in Organizational Leadership from Purdue University.


Beck Kloss is the Chief Product and Technology Officer at Scribd, Inc., overseeing Product Management, Technology, Design, Data and Analytics. Since joining in 2021, he has driven product innovation and platform enhancements to strengthen Scribd, Inc.’s global offering.
Beck’s prior experience includes senior roles at Spotify, eBay, and Endeavor, as well as serving as a Partner at Climate Capital. His career spans product management, analytics, AI, advertising, and digital strategy across both high-growth startups and established enterprises. He holds a B.A. in Psychology with minors in Statistics and Philosophy from Appalachian State University and an M.S. in Analytics from North Carolina State University.


Gemma Craven is Chief Marketing Officer at Scribd, Inc., where she leads Brand Marketing, Content, and Customer Operations - teams united to attract, engage, and retain customers by delivering exceptional brand experiences at every touchpoint. She has 25+ years of experience building and positioning global brands.
Previously, Gemma led marketing at Melissa & Doug, an advisor to the C-Suite at companies including Spotify, Nike, Fiverr, and Ford, and led digital brand strategy at McCann New York, where she helped turn the Fearless Girl into a global sensation. She built Social@Ogilvy New York into an award-winning, multi-practice division. Originally from the UK, Gemma has lived and worked on three continents.


Kalea Clark is General Counsel at Scribd, Inc., overseeing Legal Strategy, Risk & Compliance (including Regulatory, Government Affairs, IT, and Security), Intellectual Property, and Commercial Transactions. She is known for her collaborative approach to developing legal solutions that align with business goals.
Before Scribd, Inc., Kalea served more than a decade as Deputy General Counsel at The Washington Post, advising on SaaS expansion, digital advertising, privacy compliance, and newsroom matters. She began her career at WilmerHale, representing clients in technology, education, and media. Kalea holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. from the University of Michigan.


Laurel Martin is Senior Director, Finance at Scribd, Inc., where she leads the company’s finance function, including Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Development, and Investor Relations. She joined Scribd, Inc. in 2022 and brings a background in corporate development and investment banking, applying a strategic lens to capital allocation, growth opportunities, and long-term value creation.
Prior to Scribd, Inc., Laurel was a member of Amazon’s Corporate Development team, leading M&A transactions for Prime Video and Amazon’s U.S. retail business. She previously served as Vice President of Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley. She holds a B.S. from Georgetown University and an MBA from UCLA.


Adrian Lienhard is Vice President of Infrastructure Engineering at Scribd, Inc., where he founded and scaled the Infrastructure organization and is also leading Payments & Billing, Identity, and Growth Engineering. Across a decade at Scribd, Inc., he has helped scale engineering from a small team to a 200+ person organization and has led the company's cloud migration and the technical integration of multiple strategic acquisitions.
Previously, Adrian built demand forecasting systems at Google Cloud and co-founded and served as CTO of Cmsbox, a web CMS recognized by the Nielsen Norman Group among the top 10 best-designed applications. He holds a Ph.D. (summa cum laude) and M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Bern.

Betsey Nelson is an experienced CFO and board member with expertise in scaling technology companies. She held senior leadership roles at Autodesk and Macromedia (CFO), and currently serves on the boards of HackerOne and Smule, and is Board Chair of DAI Global LLC. Her prior public board service includes Zendesk, Pandora, and Ancestry.

Geoff Yang is the co-founder of Redpoint Ventures. With a focus on early-stage technology investments, he brings decades of experience helping founders grow category-defining businesses. He serves on corporate boards including Warner Bros. Discovery and Franklin Templeton, among others; his previous public board service includes AT&T.

Jared Friedman is the co‑founder and former CTO of Scribd, Inc. Since 2015, he has been a Group Partner at Y Combinator, where he advises early-stage startups. He is also an active angel investor and has been recognized for his contributions to technology and entrepreneurship.

Vic Parker is a Managing Director at Spectrum, leading investments in software and information services companies. He has spearheaded successful investments in companies like Ancestry and SurveyMonkey and previously held roles at Summit Partners and Accenture. He serves on the NVCA Board and various other councils.

Padma Warrior is the founder of Fable, which was acquired by Scribd, Inc. in 2025. She previously served as CEO of NIO U.S. and served as CTO at both Cisco and Motorola. She brings deep expertise in scaling global technology companies and currently serves on the boards of Microsoft and Spotify.
